After a long and difficult season, the Altoona Trout have seized the championship of the League of Extraordinary Drunks. We'd like to offer our congratulations to Diedre's Southern Madness for a well fought final game. I thought Adrian Peterson was going to single-handedly steal the victory for the Madness until well after midnight. Your team should hold their heads high.

We feel that this was a team effort. No one single person is responsible, but rather the whole group worked to make plays. The media talked a lot about dissension in our locker room and a lack of talent, but we knew the truth. It feels really good to be vindicated and we're looking forward to savoring this in the off season.
