My friend Mary organized a trip to Okemo Mountain in Vermont for snowboarding and skiing. At the very last minute, I snagged a ride up, but left my snowboard gear at home. Instead of winter sports, I cooked, read, did the puzzle, watched football, and drank one or two beers.

Huge thanks to Mary who brings together diverse, wonderful people both literally and figuratively with her bear hugs.
