Here's to NASA, the astronauts, the scientists, JFK, and to America. The single coolest thing anyone has ever done is to walk on the moon. (As opposed to moonwalk.)

Of all the major news events ever, I can't think of a bigger one that was also positive. Maybe the end of WWII? Cure for polio? Paula Abdul leaving American Idol? I don't know.

People born too late to watch often wish they had seen the landing. To me that is not thinking big enough. I wish I'd have walked on the moon. I'd be happy even if I was guy #2.
