A while back, D&K sent me and the mlw a massage gift certificate to help us lose some particular stress. I've never had a massage before, so I didn't really feel a sense of urgency to cash it in. To be honest, I wasn't stoked about a stranger rubbing oil on my shoulders and thighs. I always expected to pay a lot for that some day and then get arrested  by an undercover cop. The mlw had a lot of knots in her neck, though, so she made me go.

Boy was I wrong to be worried. Janice, my massuse was firm and gentle all at once. She was short and had enourmous hand muscles, built like a latina Shawn Johnson. I was kneeded like pizza dough at the original Grimaldi's, that is, expertly. She found stress in parts of my body I didn't know I had. I walked out feeling like a stoned Gumby. I like that very much.

Another benefit was that we got to explore a new neighborhood, Fort Greene. More on that next post.

Thanks D&K!
