Last night, with the help of Erik and Kate, I was able to hang my book shelves and put up the books, adding more precious space to the apartment. I think we are close to being ready for a couch. To celebrate, Erik, Kate, Lauren, and I had a pint in the rec room (formerly known as the Edge). Checks and NostalgiaI removed the photo. The personal information was all blurred out, but still a creepy number of people do image searches for checks. Well, freaks, I'm tracking your IP addresses. While throwing out some old papers last night, I stumbled upon these two checks. The first is a rent check from when I was in grad school in Pittsburgh. That $180 got me a room in a house, with a yard, washer and dryer, in a great neighborhood. The second check is for a Pentium 233.
